For several years he has been in declining health, suffering from a paralytic stroke during the past year and from which there was no hopes of recovery. Realizing this he became desirous for the end of the journey of life. During his sickness he received the kind attention of relatives and neighbors. His brothers of the lodge have also been very faithful in their visits administering help whenever needed. He leaves one sister and many relatives who will now miss him from the old home place where they have come for many years.
