21 June 1900
Edward Dorman, who spent last winter in Texas hoping to regain his health, returned to Covington about the first of June. He was manfully resisting that dread disease, consumption, but was compelled to yield to death's call last Monday. Funeral services at the C. P. Church on Wednesday afternoon and internment in the Highland Cemetery.
