DUNCAN, SAMUEL H. - Piqua--Samuel H. Duncan, after less than a week's serious illness died at his home in Piqua Saturday morning death being due to a stroke of paralysis. He was 81 years of age and had lived in Piqua since 1862 coming there from Darke county where he had followed the occupation of farmer. He is survived by four children: Mrs J. W. Nigh, Washington, D. C., Mrs. Angeline Walling, Indianapolis, Mrs. W. S. Furnas, Covington and Ida B. Duncan, Piqua; also an adopted daughter, Mrs. W. R. Hills, who lives northeast of Piqua. The funeral was held Tuesday morning. Interment at Covington.
